WORKING RALLIES

Working Rallies are held for all ages and abilities and provide ongoing training. So whether you are hoping to do your D test, A test, or no tests at all, these rallies are relevant to you. Groups sessions are 1 hour long. Members are allocated a group relevant to their experience/ability/size of their horse or pony etc. Please phone for your rally times the day before the rally is due to take place.

It is important to return your rally slip and payment at least 2 weeks before the dates for the rallies. These rallies are likely to be over-subscribed, as there are limited places. Please, please send a separate cheque for each date required, to help our administration. Thank you.
Please note on the Calendar Page, the activities marked with a * count as working rallies for those members who need to get rallied up . For Area competitions and above, members must have been to a minimum of three Working Rallies since the previous 1st July, to be eligible to represent their branch. Camp & Easter Clinic each count as a working rally. If you can only do certain dates because you are away at school or have other commitments, please book those dates well in advance. Check the dates, think ahead and book your place!
DRESS FOR RIDDEN RALLIES IS AS FOLLOWS: Jodhpurs, riding boots (half chaps may be worn but should have no tassles and be the same colour as the footwear), Cowdray polo shirt, Cowdray hoodie (with hood tucked in the back for safety purposes) or Cowdray yellow branch sweatshirt. If no Cowdray clothing, a white shirt with the pony club tie can also be worn.
Body protectors are encouraged for all jumping and are compulsory for Cross Country, as is a medical armband. Girls should wear hairnets and long hair should always be tied above shoulder level. Wellington boots, muckers or trainers should not be worn. Hats must meet the current Pony Club Safety Standards. Cowdray hoodies must not be worn for cross country for safety reasons. Jewellery shouldn’t be worn at any time.
